Many of these sheets were updated with a pencil probably in 1947 or 1948. Property owner names, property prices and indications of whether there was a structure on the property were noted. Clean sheet with no pencil markings observed

City of Lake Worth Beach Public Beach
At one time the city owned the oceanfront land north of here to just south of Sloan's curve. Now this is the only section they own on the Atlantic
The city changed its name from Lake Worth to Lake Worth Beach in 2019
Undated Post Card - Pre 1947
Shows the casino and area behind it before it was filled in. A hurricane in 1947 washed out portions of S. Ocean Blvd (now AKA A1A) north of here. It also destroyed the casino.

Postmarked 1953 this card shows how the Intracoastal side was filled in and S. Ocean Blvd was moved from the Atlantic side to the Lake Worth Lagoon side after a 1947 hurricane washed out S. Ocean Blvd north of here
